Protipovodňová opatření v areálu chemického podniku BC-MCHZ

The bachelor´s thesis is dealing with the issue of floods in a nearby surrounding of the junction of the rivers Opava and Odra where there is also situated the chemical concern BorsodChem MCHZ, s.r.o. The author appraises the floods from 1997, the current situation and precaution measures against floods from the point of view of Povodí Odry, s.p., the regional fire squad and the company BorsodChem MCHZ, s.r.o. He outlines possible solutions for the future in case of a flood situation on the grounds of the company.
