Mezinárodní migrační toky – komparace Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na mezinárodní migraci v EU a USA. Cílem práce je na základě analýzu a komparace příslušných dat charakterizovat klíčové aspekty migračních toků v rámci Evropské unie a Spojených státech amerických. Práce je rozdělena do 5 kapitol, přičemž první kapitola je úvod. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na teoretické vymezení, typy, důsledky, příčiny, specifické formy mezinárodní migrace a remitence. Třetí kapitola se věnuje mezinárodní migraci v EU, především azylové a migrační politice EU, nástrojům a programům EU. Čtvrtá kapitola mapuje mezinárodní migraci ve Spojených státech amerických a v Evropské unii. Pátou kapitolou je závěr.

This thesis is focused on international migration in the EU and the USA. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare relevant data to characterize the key aspects of migration flows within the European Union and the United States of America. Thesis consists of 5 chapters, the first chapter is an introduction. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical definition, typesconsequences, causes, specific forms of migration and remittances. The third chapter descibes selected aspects of international migration in the European Union in particular asylum and migration policy of the EU, the EU´s initiatives adn programmes. The fourth chapter describes international migration in the United States and the European Union. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
