Abstract

To retain a quality employee should be the key activity for every organization. For this purpose various benefit systems are used. Their main advantage is that they are more economic-effective than simple increase of wages or salaries. Suitably designed system of benefits together with optimally chosen scheme of rewards supports the increase in employers´ competitive ability within the labour market. The aim of this thesis was to analyse the current state of employee benefits in the selected organization and to design a new flexible system of employee benefits required by management reflecting desires of employees identified in the questionnaire. My diploma thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The first half is dedicated to the theoretical basis of employee benefits. The practical part describes the organization and selected characteristics of the current state of employee benefits. Then with the help of a questionnaire survey was identified the factors on which a new flexible system of employee benefits was proposed.
