Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the valuation of a selected company from the manufacturing industry using the yield methods. Specifically, the company is valued using the DCF method and the economic value added method. The thesis is divided into five chapters, including the introduction and conclusion. The second chapter clarifies the basic concepts related to the issue of business valuation. The third chapter contains information about a specific company, as well as strategic and financial analysis. The fourth chapter is a key part of the thesis, it includes the valuation of selected methods as of January 1, 2020 and also the valuation based on the book value, which has a complementary character. Scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis are also included. Finally, the results of the award are evaluated.
