Abstract

This bachelor thesis was done as individual professional practice in Continental Automotive Systems Czech Republic s. r. o. company in Test Engineering group. The first part describes the company and the Test Engineering department in which the practice was done. The main part describes tasks solved during the practice, knowledge and procedures used to solve them as well as the newly learned ones, and achieved results. The major task was to find a new ELCO (Electrolytic capacitor) polarity checking method usable to test products in serial production and other tasks related to start of production and run in of a new combustion engine control unit testing line. Among the auxiliary work belonged regular equipment maintenance and control tasks.
