Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with endocrine disruptors and their identification with respect to their effects on human health. The theoretical part summarizes basic concepts, mechanisms of action and regulatory approaches in the European Union, especially according to CLP and REACH regulations. The practical part focuses on the proposal of a screening approach for the identification of substances with potential endocrine disrupting properties in industrial practice. The proposed method was applied to selected substances, namely cyclohexylamine and pentamethyldiethylenetriamine. Based on the screening, no endocrine activity was identified for the evaluated substances; however, for cyclohexylamine, the need for further assessment was indicated. The thesis also includes an overview of substances with endocrine disrupting properties produced in the Czech Republic.
