Abstract

This thesis deals with the calculation of short-circuit conditions for the 22kV, 6 kV and 3 kV substation. Those are usually part of company assessment. Theoretical part, which deals with general description of short-circuits and their consequences is followed by analysis of calculating short-circuit conditions. The next chapter includes a practical part where short-circuit impedance, current and power are calculated based on attached substitute schemas. The calculations are done for eight different kinds of wiring networks. In the last part there the impact of short-circuit currents on allowed wire warming is investigated.
