Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the problems of the fire safety aspects of gas vehicles and it evaluates the possibilities of their parking in large-scale underground garages. The opening chapters shortly summarize the history and reasons for using gas fuels in transport. The next parts of the work characterize the gas vehicles from the standpoint of construction, fire safety and their development in future. A separate chapter pays attention to the legal regulations and technical standards, which adjust the problems of using gas in transport. The final parts solve the fire safety of garages and they propose necessary technical, organizational and legislative precautions for safe parking gas vehicles in underground garages. The aim of bachelor thesis is to evaluate the security of gas vehicles and to propose precautions for their safe parking in underground car park.
