Vývoj sněhové pokrývky v povodí vodárenské nádrže Šance

Abstract

This thesis deals with parameters of the snow cover in the catchment area Šance in Beskydy Mountains. The goal is to find the best interpolation method to be able to determine the parameters of the snow cover for any point of the territory. The thesis describes the basic information about the snow, the measured parameters such as height, density and water supply, and measurement methodology. Next, there are documented basic statistical analysis of parameters, analysis of relationships between the snow parameters and altitude, slope and aspect. Finally, the testing of different interpolation methods is included and results are evaluated and discussed.
