Abstract

This thesis treats the problems of earthworks in the road construction. Three examples of chosen projects describe basic technologies used for building of cuttings and causeways. The thesis aims the part of realization. It pays attention to technologies, logistics and economics of the projects in the road construction. In the first part there is an analysis of the individual processes, subsequently there are practical applications of the separate technologies. Further part aims the problems with the unsuitable road bed and the slope stability. The final part is dedicated to the technical and economical evaluation of the individual structural designs.
