Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on issues related to the global financial crisis. In the introduction you can find the definition of the environment in which financial crisis arises, followed by a brief hindsight into the history. Next part of thesis describes the events in the U.S. which signed the emergence of the current financial crisis and immediate impact on the global economy. More space is devoted to the development of the situation in the Czech Republic between 2008 and 2010, particularly the secondary sector of the economy. At the end of the thesis the evaluation of the current state of our economy by means of opinions of leading Czech experts can be found.
