Abstract

JAŠŠOVÁ, Lucia, Bc.: Muntifunctional sports hall. [Master’s Thesis] / Bc. Lucia Jaššová. – VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Faculty of Civil Engineering; Department of building engineering. Supervisor: doc.Ing. Roman Fojtík, Ph.D. Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, VSB-TUO, 2025. The subject of this thesis is the development of design documentation for a multifunctional sports hall, at the level required for construction implementation. The multifunctional sports hall is located within the urban area of Dolný Kubín on a flat plot of land. The building is designed as a standalone structure with a regular floor plan, which can be divided into two functional parts – the main hall and the annex. The hall is designed, from a structural and material perspective, as a prefabricated reinforced concrete frame structure, topped with a system of glued laminated timber (glulam) roof trusses. The infill walls consist of sandwich wall panels. The two-storey annex of the sports hall is designed as a masonry structure made of ceramic blocks, with a flat roof. The floor slabs are made of prestressed hollow-core concrete panels of the SPIROLL type. The thesis also includes a structural analysis of the glulam roof truss and a thermal performance assessment of the external envelope.
