Quagi anténa

Abstract

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is a specific type of antenna, called crossbreed, directional Quagi antenna. The first part of my Bachelor work describes the basic principles and characteristics of antennas in General, then the theoretical description, principles and characteristics of the Quagi antenna. The following is the design and simulation of the Quagi model, for a specified antenna frequency, in MMANA freeware simulation tool. The next section covers the practical realization procedure of the antenna. In the last section is the accuracy of a practical proposal, verified by measuring the selected parameters of the constructed antenna.
