Analýza managementu vybrané tělovýchovné jednoty

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze management practices of the sport organization “Tělovýchovná jednota Slavoj Český Těšín” and suggest measures for increasing effectiveness and further developments of the organization. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical section. It is further divided into five chapters, with an introduction in the first chapter and a conclusion in the last one. The theoretical section includes an explanation of terms pertinent to management and sport. The practical section is focused on activities of the specific sport organization and it contains an interview with the president of the organization, evaluation of results of a questionnaire as well as a SWOT analysis. The fourth chapter includes a summary of the questionnaire results and recommendations that will result in a better utilization of the organization.
