Vliv politických režimů na ekonomický růst

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá vlivem politických režimů na ekonomický růst. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký vliv má změna politického režimu na ekonomický růst a životní úroveň v zemi. První kapitola definuje pojmy politický režim a ekonomický růst a popisuje jednotlivé politické režimy. Kapitola první se také věnuje teoriím růstu. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vztahem mezi politickými režimy a ekonomickým růstem z hlediska institucionální ekonomie. Je zde provedena rešerše literatury, která se zabývá vlivem politických režimů na ekonomický růst. Třetí kapitola analyzuje vliv politických režimů na ekonomickou úroveň v zemích Latinské Ameriky. Je zde použita deskriptivní a korelační analýza. Veličinami pro provedení korelační analýzy jsou Polity IV a HDP na obyvatele.

This thesis deals with the influence of political regimes on economic growth. The goal is to find out what effect has a change of political regime on economic growth and living standards in the country. The first chapter defines the concepts of political system and economic growth it describes a variety of the political regimes. The theories of economic growth are also part of the first chapter. The second chapter deals with the relationship between political regimes and economic growth from the perspective of institutional economics. The part of this chapter is a research of the literature which deals with the influence od political regimes on economic growth. The third chapter contains an analysis influence of the political regimes on the economic level in the Latin America countries. There is used a descriptive and correlation analysis. Polity IV and GDP per capita are used as variables in the correlation analysis.
