Abstract
This paper deals with the use of global satellite navigation systems to target the longitudinal profile. The work could be divided into two parts. The first part is purely theoretical, and describes different types of GNSS and how they work. The second part is focused on measurement and evaluation. The measurements were conducted in the hilly terrain Jeseníky mountains. The result of this work is a drawing of the targeted profile.
