Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the assessment and evaluation of the workers safety during the cleaning of utilities with pressurized water in the company LIBERTY Ostrava, a.s. In the introductory part of this thesis, the characteristics of utilities and their purpose of operation in the company are described, and the legislative requirements that address the safety of the described work activity are listed. Occupational risks were evaluated for the work - cleaning sewerage with pressurized water; the safe use of high-pressure hoses was assessed and measures were proposed to eliminate the identified occupational risks.
