Abstract
The presented bachelor thesis describes the types of corrosion, the characteristics, distribution and technological properties of stainless steels. In the next part of the thesis, there is given the influence of the elements on the properties of these steels, focusing on the influence of the boron content. Subsequently the literature analysis of the possibilities of influencing the technological and utility properties of steels by the addition of boron was performed.
