Abstract
In the present work I have described the basic principles of auxiliary ventilation. In the following section I have presented a series of measurements of the fan characteristics and measurements of the aerodynamic resistance of pipeline. The main part of the thesis is a comparison of the measurements of the lute thrust parameter on real models with computer fluid mechanics simulations. The achieved convergence results proved to be satisfactory, and the presented design method can probably be applied in mining operation under certain conditions.
