Abstract
The aim of the thesis is optimization of the process setting of the technological process by using a system of artificial neural networks. The expected result of this work is the draft of process application for operator’s decision support within the production control system. Due to the wider set the theme of work into problems in this thesis work are approximated basic methods of artificial intelligence. A large part of the thesis is devoted to artificial neural networks. The study also explained MES system and its potential and benefits for manufacturing sector. MES system is closely tied to the Industry 4.0 philosophy, a fully cybernetic factory so-called smart factory. Problems of artificial neural networks, their practical design and testing have been realized by using the software STATISTICA, StatSoft, Inc.
