Abstract

This thesis generally deals with mine water which is necesery to clean as a result of mining activities in the context of remediation and reclamation activities. Water pumped from mines and quarries because of drainage. Water is pumped to be cleaned to meet the values laid down for mine water discharge into waterways. In this work we focus on optimizing the mine water treatment plant in Březno. Desulphation outline options for the mine water treatment plant. The goal is to try to find a possibility to optimize the treatment of mine water, whether it is possible to increase the capacity of the plant. To assess whether cost savings can be achieved when treating the water, and all the conditions laid down by the water authority.
