Chování evakuujících se osob během cvičné požární evakuace

Abstract

The theses concentrates on problematics of evacuees‘ behavior during practice evacuation which took place in the area of Central Library of the University of Mining – the Technical University of Ostrava. The aim of the exercise was to find out how would students and staff react to evacuation emergency in case of the building catching fire. The first part of the theses deals with overall problematics of evacuating people. The second part describes the event itself, including the analysis of video footage and its results. These are later used in software designed for simulation of people rescue. The theses also shows overall statistical data regarding the behavior of analyzed people, including university staff and their importance during the evacuation.
