Abstract

Thesis described an overview of the current utilisation and possibilities for technological applications for biologically degradable communal and agricultural wastes. The theoretical part contains the present environmental laws related to the subject and also main properties (composition, energetic parameters) of biologically degradable wastes. Practical part described the current situation in the production of waste in two urban areas where the population not exceeding 1000 inhabitants. On the basis of evaluation of properties of produced wastes from the point of amount, chemical composition a technological properties is proposed the optimal waste management. Technologies were tested in laboratory scale (anaerobic digestion) mainly the wastes form hops production. From laboratory results it is apparent, that this kind of waste is suitable for anaerobic digestion. All reliable technologies are evaluated from the point of quality parameters and produced amount. On the basis of these results is suggested the optimal system for waste management.
