Abstract

Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with combustion properties in the fireplace insert of Laudel 700 prisma. The flue gas composition (CO2, CO, HC, O2) was measured using a Longus Infralyt 4000 flue gas analyzer and K-temperature temperature-controlled thermocouples measuring the YCT YC747D millivolt meter. The bachelor thesis deals with the experiment in the field, it is the process of combustion on the used wall material and the distribution of the drawn combustion air into the combustion chamber. In the experiment, it was found that the modification of the fireplace insert resulted in a reduction of the CO content in the flue gases and a reduction in the exhaust gas temperatures.
