Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to find out spectral transmission of transparent materials suplied by Varroc Lighting Systems Ltd. These transparent materials are polymers, more precisely acrylic and polycarbonate in two different forms. The task of the practical part is to design experimental set for accurate measurement of spectral transmission, correctly evaluate and interpret results and also verification of their correctness. Apart from this, the thesis examines the theoretical assumption of transmission of luminophore, implications of this assumption and also the verification of its validity.
