Abstract

The thesis focuses on administrative and market valuation of a municipal waste repository. The subject of the valuation is ASOMPO a.s. Životice Landfill. The aim of the thesis is to analyse various valuation methods in relation to the municipal waste repository and to confirm or refute formulated hypotheses. Two hypotheses were formulated and confirmed according to the aim of the thesis. The one hypothesis was: ‘The most appropriate method of valuation of a municipal waste repository is the income method.’ The other hypothesis was: ‘The comparison method cannot be applied.’ The first part of the thesis defines basic concepts related to waste management. The second part includes administrative cost calculation of the landfill and market price calculation of the landfill by income and cost method. An assessment of valuation methods in relation to the municipal waste landfill and recapitulation of prizes follow.
