Abstract
The submited diploma thesis deals with the education of employees and especially its subsequent evaluation, measurement of outputs and the effectiveness of the entire process. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into several chapters, where the reader is gradually introduced to the concept of human resource management in relation to corporate training and then the importance of training evaluation is explained. As part of the evaluation, the thesis presents several methods and models that can be used in practice to evaluate the outputs of educational activities. The specific Kirkpatrick model is applied in the empirical part of the thesis, which examines the measurement of the education effectiveness from the perspective of the management of described Organization XY. Using theoretical knowledge and subsequent data analysis, the results of the evaluation of the training programme are presented and recommendations for improving the system of measuring the effectiveness of employee training are proposed in the described organisation.
