Abstract
The aim of the work is monitoring impact of preparation methods particle size and morphology of the antibacterial activity. Theoretical part will be solved thought literature research on the topic: solochemical, mechanochemical and ultrasonic methods for preparing nanoparticles; size-defined particles of zinc oxide and their basic characteristics; the antibacterial activity of submicron and nanometer zinc oxide particles. Within the experimental section will be prepared size-defined zinc oxide particles undergo structural and phase characterization; analysis of the size and distribution of particle size; testing and evaluation of the antibacterial activity. Testing antibacterial activity will be conducted in cooperation with the Health institute based in Ostrava.
