Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with problems of supply chain management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current issue of supply chain management in the chosen industrial company and to propose measures to improve the current state. The theoretical part is focused on inventory issues and the management. Emphasis in the practical part is placed on the industrial company where the analyses of supply chain management are used. There are individual methods implemented – particularly the ABS and XYZ methods on the selected items. Results of the analyses depict the current state of supply chain management in the industrial business. On the basis of the results recommended procedures for individual categories are proposed to improve the current state of supply chain management.
