Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine the effect of corrosion products on the surface of stainless steels. The theoretical part deals with stainless steel, its distribution, marking, structure and influence of alloying elements on their properties. Another describes the corrosion and corrosion types and the environmental impact of stainless steel. The practical part deals with influence of high temperature oxides on various types of stainless steel surface.
