Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the technical requirements for products which move within the European Market. It tries to explain the essence of the global concept based on the new approach to conformity assessment of the specified products including its launch. The first part of the thesis is concerned with the requirements stated in the directives of the EU legislation menaning the requirements defined by the Act No. 22/1997 Coll. as amended. The second part attempts to clarify the process sequence for the product launch. This involves the initial phase of the proposal, classification in the relevant government regulation, the production and the preparation of the necessary documentation and lastly the final designation confirming compatibility with global requirements. The third, final part, is focused on the specific case with all its related items. And that is the launch of a pice of technical equipment - the low voltage switchgear.
