Regenerace sídliště - Trávniky Otrokovice

Abstract

HAMELOVÁ, S.: Regeneration of the housing estate – Trávíky Otrokovice city. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, 2025. Thesis head: Ing. Renata Zdařilová, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the design of the regeneration of a part of the Trávníky housing estate in the town of Otrokovice, specifically the area bounded by Lidická Street and Hlavní Street. The aim of the thesis is to improve the functional quality of public spaces and enhance comfort for local residents. The proposal focuses on:  improving accessibility and barrier-free use of public space,  efficient management of rainwater,  modification and supplementation of playground elements to meet current safety and functionality requirements,  optimization of the capacity and arrangement of parking spaces,  unification of pedestrian surfaces in a consistent visual style and material execution,  addition of urban furniture and its harmonization with the surrounding environment,  adjustment and unification of container locations in accordance with solutions in other parts of the city. The concept respects the current zoning plan and aims to create a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing public environment.
