Abstract
The bachelor thesis covers the development of a computer application in MATLAB allowing determination of static and deformation quantities of a foundation beam on elastic subsoil. The developed program offers the possibility of solving problems using an elastic half-space, Winkler and Pasternak foundation model. This thesis contains the theoretical procedure of calculation of the selected methods, which are then applied to sample examples. The created program offers the possibility of defining the custom dimensions of the foundation beam, type of subsoil and type of load. The values of vertical deformations of the foundation beam are compared in selected tasks. Finally, a comparison of probabilistic and deterministic solutions to the deformation of the foundation is performed for a selected example.
