Abstract

The thesis deals with the subject of human resources and an evaluation of efficiency of the human resources management (HRM) process in a particular industrial company. The main content of this effort is the evaluation of personnel activities, which are associated with creation and analysis of jobs, careful planning of human resources, selection and recruitment, adaptation, evaluation and bonuses, care for workers and, last but not least, their education during employment till prior to dismissal. The introductory part describes the company, its´ history, production activities and organizational structure. The next chapter focuses on solving of theoretical basis of HRM together with defining of basic concepts related to individual personnel activities. The practical part presents an analysis with an evaluation of results from the questionnaire survey and statistical verification of the hypotheses. Based on the findings, suggestions and recommendations for implementation of changes for the company management are elaborated, which could lead to increased employee satisfaction and optimization of the HRM process in the organization.
