Abstract

The thesis outlines plate 18, seam level in 25 of the coal-extracting area called Doubrava u Eanglas in the Karviná Mine in North Moravia (CZ), with a brief description of the geology in this area. The thesis shows the Plan of the Opening, Preparation and Mining in the first block, seam 25, plate 18. The plan involves the opening, i.e. creating a basic wind circuit, preparing the extraction block and its mining. The chapters on the opening and preparation will show you both the classical mining technology and extraction with a digging combine. The thesis also describes the process of long-wall mining including its installation and liquidation. In addition, the thesis gives an economic assessment thereof.
