Využití katalyzátorů na bázi směsných oxidů jako možnost snížení emisí z malých spalovacích zařízení.

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to study mixed oxide catalysts in the context of reducing emissions from small combustion plants, such as stoves. Six Co and Cu-based mixed oxide catalysts were selected and their activity in CO and propane oxidation was studied. The physico-chemical properties of these catalysts were analyzed by AAS, XRD, physical sorption of nitrogen, TPR-H2, TPD-CO2 and TPD-NH3. The catalytic experiments were carried out in a tubular flow reactor with a fixed bed of catalyst at temperatures of 100-500 °C. The obtained data show that the Co-based catalysts have the highest activity. The dependence of the conversion on the amount of reducible species was confirmed. The dependence of conversion on basicity and acidity was not confirmed.
