Scénografická instalace „Entrée dans la Cœur“

Abstract

Jako cíl bakalářské práce jsem si vybral zvěčnění mé druhé polovičky ve formě lité figury z cínového bronzu, zasazené do fikční scény. Samotná scéna zůstávala svou vizáží od začátku ve velmi proměnné formě, figura však měla odlišný příběh. Koncept postavy byl spojením kinetického umění ve formě mechanického srdce imitující svým pohybem a zvuky skutečné. Technologie realizace kovové sochy je takzvané vakuové lití. Výsledkem nezpochybnitelně je paralela díla s příběhem, kterým v podstatě celá práce je; skutečný příběh nekončí, dokud vypravěč žije. Já bakalářskou práci přežil a ani ona nemá konec u posledního slova. Figura, ač bez mechanismu, vznikla a scéna ještě přijde.

For my bachelor’s thesis, I chose to immortalize my significant other in the form of a cast tin-bronze figure set within a fictional scene. While the scene itself remained in a state of flux from the very beginning, the figure had a distinct narrative. The concept of the figure combined kinetic art in the form of a mechanical heart that mimics the movements and sounds of the real counterpart. The technique used to create the metal sculpture is known as vacuum casting. The result is undeniably a parallel between the work and the story that essentially constitutes the entire project; the real story does not end as long as the narrator lives. I have outlived my bachelor’s thesis, and it, too, does not end with the final word. The figure, though without a mechanism, has been created, and the scene is yet to come.
