Abstract

This work is focused on the assessment of the technical parameters of the heating plant generator installed at ArcelorMittal Energy Ostrava a.s. in 1997 and assessment parameters modernized generator of the same type carried out by the company BRUSH SEM s.r.o. in 2012. In the theoretical part of this work are basic principles of synchronous machines, in particular, it will discuss synchronous generators, or alternators and basic description of the alternator. In the practical part of this thesis are evaluated parameters of the generator before making upgrading and after upgrading. In conclusion, this work are provides basic differences generator after upgrading.
