Abstract
This thesis deals with design and implementation of a system for visual detection of defects on the material surface, particularly checking the accuracy of assembly on printed circuit boards.
Diploma thesis was realized in ATEsystem company, specialized in testing and visual inspection of products in various stages of the manufacturing process.
For the work realization was used linear displacement assembly with more elaborated description below. The optical inspection program was developed in LabVIEW programming environment but there was also the possibility of development in the Vision Builder for Automatic Inspection environment.
The practical part of this work in the end looks like a separate machinery with double state output - product is good / defective and more detailed test results for saving in company database.
