Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of diagnostics of synchronous alternators, which are critical components in the field of electric power generation.
The introductory part of the thesis describes the construction, operating principle, and classification of synchronous alternators, providing a theoretical foundation necessary for understanding potential fault conditions. Furthermore, the significance of diagnostics in synchronous machines is discussed, emphasizing its contribution to ensuring the reliability and safety of operation.
The main body of the thesis is devoted to technical diagnostics, including a detailed description of fundamental diagnostic methods and procedures employed in the assessment of synchronous alternators' condition. Special attention is paid to standard diagnostic techniques that have been applied to the specific machine analyzed in this work.
The practical section involves the implementation of selected diagnostic measurements on the investigated machine. The collected data is thoroughly analyzed to identify potential faults and to propose preventive measures. The measurement results are presented in the form of graphs, tables, and recommendations, with each measurement accompanied by an explanation of the detected deviations and their evaluation. This thesis processes and interprets the conducted measurements on a specific machine and provides a comprehensive overview of diagnostic methods used to determine the current condition of alternators, where ensuring operational reliability is of paramount importance.
