Abstract

In collaboration with FLÍDR Ltd. created a requirement for the production of double-sided closed groove in the headrest frame. In the first phase, trying thesis to readers to outline the need to use the headrest in each new car as an element of passive safety. Following this, the importance groove geometry for proper functioning of the frame rests. The main part is based on the design technology of double-sided closed groove into thin-walled tube and the possibility of the groove produced under real conditions. All based on numerical modeling. The thesis is also supplemented with consideration to prevent cracking booster mandrel for assembling and positioning groove.
