Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to predict the probability distribution of net operating profits for Heineken company in 2019 by applying the CorporateMetrics methodology. In overall, this thesis involves five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, while the last chapter is conclusion. Both of the second and third chapter refer to the theoretical part, while the fourth chapter refers to the practical part. The second chapter involves the description of the CorporateMetrics methodology. An overview of corporate methodology is given. In addition, various mathematical methods and financial models are described in detail as well. The third chapter describes the characterization of Heineken company. The basic information of Heineken company is introduced, Moreover, industry analysis and SWOT analysis are applied either. The forth chapter is the key part of this thesis, it involves the application of CorporateMetrics methodology in our selected company according to the mathematical methods and financial models introduced in the second chapter, and the probability distribution of net operating profits for Heineken company in 2019 will be created in the end.
