Abstract

In its introduction, the diploma thesis deals with the basic requirements of legal and other regulations to ensure health and safety at work for hoisters. It also includes, using a hoister training kit, a large number of practical examples of unsafe methods of hoisting and rigging and their safe variants. In the final part of the thesis, it links selected workplace accidents to the unsafe hoisting and rigging methods presented in the thesis.
