Abstract
The main topic of my bachelor thesis is the current state of mining and processing of clay minerals in the Czech Republic. The content of six chapters of this work are methods of classification, description and use of clay minerals with emphasis on kaolinite and montmorillonite, there is also a comparison of the current state of mining and reserves in the Czech Republic with previous years. The final chapter presents the possibilities of non-traditional use of this raw material.
