Rozdíly ve vybrané veřejnoprávní regulaci reklamy v České republice a Velké Británii

Abstract

The main topic and the aim of the bachelor thesis is to point out the differences in selected public regulation of advertising in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. In the theoretical part I focus on the general interpretation of advertising and its purpose, types and functions, as well as social importance, as well as public regulation of advertising in both countries at the level of legislative, which deals with institutions supervising advertising and laws that regulate advertising. I also mention the unfair practices that may occur in advertising and which are strictly prohibited by law, as they can negatively affect the behavior and decision of the customer. The work focuses more on the legislation of advertising in both the above -mentioned countries in sensitive areas such as food, medicines, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products and this topic is devoted to the practical part, where I point out the differences in the regulation and in the activities of the public law bodies, Overviews of adherence to advertising regulations and I evaluate in detail the differences in the compaled regulation of the public regulation of advertising in the above segments. Part of the work is also the definition of terms such as advertising, medicines, alcohol, tobacco production, food, differences, regulation. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis evaluates the achieved goals
