Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a laboratory magnetic levitation model with position control of a permanent magnet. The thesis is based on the existing MagnetoShield task, which was further modified and extended for the purposes of experimental control and educational use.
As part of the thesis, the electronic schematic design, selection of suitable components, printed circuit board design, and mechanical parts design including 3D modeling were carried out. Furthermore, the control algorithm was implemented in the REXYGEN environment on the Raspberry Pi platform. For position control of the magnet, a cascade control structure consisting of an outer position PID loop and an inner current PI loop was designed and implemented.
The thesis also includes controller design, creation of a visualization interface for control and monitoring of the laboratory model, and evaluation of control quality based on the measured step response. The result of the thesis is a functional laboratory module capable of stable permanent magnet levitation control, including the possibility of control and monitoring of operating variables through the visualization interface.
