Testování ethernetových sítí pomocí přístroje Spirent TestCenter C1

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na představení analyzátoru a generátoru datového provozu Spirent TestCenter C1. Cílem práce je otestovat tři vybrané technologie používané v ethernetových sítích s využitím tohoto přístroje a představit jeho schopnosti generovat zprávy jednotlivých protokolů. Součástí práce je také vyhodnocení dat získaných z provedených měření a závěrečné zhodnocení přístroje po použití v praxi. Důležitou součást práce tvoří rovněž návody sloužící k sestavení jednotlivých testovaných scénářů a ke zjednodušení práce s přístrojem při jeho dalším používání.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on presenting the Spirent TestCenter C1 traffic analyzer and generator. The aim of the thesis is to test three selected technologies used in Ethernet networks using this device and to demonstrate its capabilities in generating messages of individual protocols. The thesis also includes the evaluation of data obtained from the conducted measurements and a final assessment of the device based on its practical use. An important part of the thesis is also the instructions for setting up the tested scenarios and for simplifying the use of the device in future applications.
