Abstract
This dissertation thesis is dedicated to the study of fiber composite materials and their use in the area of medicine.
The theoretical part is attached to the problem of polymer fiber composites, the use of composite materials in medicine and also includes a part of product design and modeling using computer technology.
The experimental part deals with the application of two kinds of fiber materials in a suitable form for two different conventional technologies for manufacturing non-aligned composite hollow profiles. These are prepregs (resin pre-impregnated fiber reinforcement) with carbon and hybrid carbon/aramid fibers for prepreg compression molding technology and carbon fabrics as well and hybrid carbon/aramid for hand lay-up technology. The experimental part is completed by the unconventional method of manufacturing composite materials using 3D carbon fiber printing.
The aim of the work is to evaluate the results of mechanical testing, compare them with the results of software analysis using the finite element method and verify whether the results of both performed methods correlate.
