Abstract
In this bachelor’s thesis we are writing about a brief summary of the theory and explaining different types of measurements for the speed and direction of wind. This thesis also includes the whole design of the unit for measuring wind direction and speed. In the next part we provide different kinds of protection against the short circuits, vibration filtering, etc. We use microcontroller ESP32 for evalueting the results, which procesess signals and then sends them on the superior system by using the comunication protokol MODBUS. All agorithms are programated in the C++ language.
