Abstract
The content of this thesis is to analyze the current system of training and employee development of Municipal Council of Ostrava City, based on the findings of the survey to assess participants' views on the current system, prepare their proposals and suggestions for the future. The aim of this work is to propose measures and recommendations that could lead to increased efficiency of the existing system of staff training and development.
